Minitube reaches version 1.0
Minitube 1.0 is finally here. It fixes some content from major labels failing to play and adds the ability to play Full HD (1080p) videos when available. This version also adds the ability copy the video stream URL, so you can download the video with an external program.
A whole slew of new translations are available: Romanian, Greek, Dutch, Arabic, Portuguese, Finnish and Bulgarian. Thanks to the translators and to all the people that keep suggesting enhancements and spreading the word out.
After downloading and setting up Minitube 1.0, you may want to make a donation so I can have free beer tomorrow evening in Rome.
Cool and usefull Programm, but it would be awesome if it could be possible to create playlists and save them.

Is the package in the ubuntu mirrors?
Thanks! I’m looking forward to seeing this in an ubuntu repo, official or ppa.
I’ve installed libphonon4 but minitube display this:
minitube: error while loading shared libraries: libphonon.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Any idea?

I loved the Minitube! i only miss one thing. a login funtion, so we can acess our favorits ( and maybe favorite new videos ) and watch ours subscriptions

Yup, an enthusiastic second on subscriptions, so that we never have to log into YT again!
i agree, getting my favs and adding new favs would be awesome. actually it’s very boring to open the youtube site if i want to add a new fav.
anyway, super great app!
ugh, youtube changed it’s website again now minitubes refuses to play :-(
