Just tried out minitube 2.0 on my new mint rosa installation but after a search for e.g. “car” comes the error message:

“error downloading http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos/?v=2&max-results=10&start-index=1&q=car – server replied: Gone”

How can I make this work?

    Kind regards,
    thomas

I just installed MiniTube on my Linux Mint 17.2 system and have run into the same issue. It can’t connect to Youtube or download results.

I’ve installed the 2.5.2 Debian/Ubuntu and the same issue occurs. Upon executing a search, there are no search results and no error is displayed.

    Same result whatever I search.

To everybody your distro package is outdated. You need the latest Minitube version.

    Hi,

I am on Linux Mint 17 with Cinnamon and I am using the Minitube 2.5.2 from your website,
not the distro package and I am having the same problems.

    “Error downloading https://www.googleapis.com/youtube……”

    No Videos showing up.

Seems like Youtube changed something tonight.

Hopefully this can get fixed, I love this app.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Should be fixed now. Google for some reason changed the assigned quota to the YouTube API. But note that this is not the same issue of the OP and others with outdated versions.
