It would be an useful feature, because it’s a bit uncomfortable to always close and reopen musique if you added music to your music folder, or want to play music which isn’t in this folder.

Alternative solution to this, a “Rescan Music Folder” menu would do the trick.

True, but drag-and-drop would allow for listening to files which you do not want to add to your library. However, that might be outside of the scope of the design. I would appreciate it though.
