Arch linux, can't select folder plus other issues

Hi! In first place I wanna thank you for this amazing program. So far my favorite music program, especially on linux. I discovered it when I was using Ubuntu but now that I have migrated to Arch Linux I’m having some problems. Basically, the program dosen’t ask me where is my folder except when I do “sudo musique” on the terminal. Another difference is that when I run it from the desktop menu it uses gtk theme and when I do the sudo thing it uses the qt theme. Now, on the normal run method it is gradualing recognizing the files but it is taking to long and dosen’t show the artist pictures like it should. I would like it to make it work just like it should,just to play music, the style difference issue is only mentioned to spicify the synthome. I hope you can’t understand me in despite of my primitive english. Thanks. Diego

Hello Diego, I’m Egay from the Philippines. I’m a new user of Musique and had just posted a help issue which I thought was a little similar to yours… although maybe not.

I can’t help you with your problem but I would if I could, just not now as I am a total novice in this Ubuntu/Linux stuffs, and now with Musique – particularly not finding my NAS. This is maybe a simple issue with you being experienced in Ubuntu/Linux.

can you “teach me” how to locate my NAS from Musique?

Clicking the “Choose folder” does not help because it only brings me to my local machine and I can’t figure out hoiw to locate the network drives. Using the “home folder” is OK but I can not “import” my music files into Musique.
